Pammy is a personal assistant you use on WhatsApp, at its official number +1 (628) 303-2743. Connecting Gmail is optional. This page shows what Pammy does with your email, step by step. What is kept, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.
Connecting Gmail
Send GMAIL to Pammy on WhatsApp. Pammy replies with a private link for you.
Open the link. The Connect Gmail page explains what Pammy reads and sends and who processes your email, and offers two extras, unticked.
Continue to Google and choose your account. Google shows the two permissions Pammy asks for: to read your email, and to send email on your behalf.
Back in WhatsApp, Pammy confirms the connection and you can start asking.
The two permissions, and what each one is for
Read your email gmail.readonly
Searches, opens and summarizes your emails when you ask in the chat.
Reads the email you are replying to, so the reply is right and stays in the same thread.
Saves the attachments you ask for, to send them to you or use them in something you ask for.
For the email alerts you create, checks only the sender, subject and preview of new emails, about every two minutes.
When you ask Pammy to do something on a website that emails you a sign-in code or link, reads only that site’s email, while it works on your request, to finish signing in.
The two extras below, only if you turn them on.
Send email on your behalf gmail.send
Replies and new emails you approve, after Pammy shows you the exact recipients, subject, text and attachments.
Scheduled emails, approved once with their recipients and schedule, then sent unchanged each time.
Emails to your own address: summaries you set up, and reminders or booking alerts that WhatsApp can’t deliver.
Pammy never deletes, archives, labels or changes your mail, never saves drafts in your Gmail, never uses your email for ads, never sells it and never uses it to train AI models.

Two extras, off unless you turn them on
Important emails
Up to 3 times a day, in the daytime and at least 2 hours apart, Pammy may point out an unread email that looks clearly important. It looks only at the sender, subject and preview. To turn it off, tell Pammy “stop telling me about important emails”.
Dates and to-dos from your inbox
Pammy reads your new inbox emails and, once when you connect, your recent and important emails of the last 60 days, never promotions, social or forum emails. It keeps short notes, like “Your lease renewal is due on 31 October”, for 90 days, and may remind you, at most once a day, when one is coming due. To turn it off and delete the notes, tell Pammy “stop learning from my email”.
Turn either one on by ticking it on the Connect Gmail page or by asking Pammy in the chat.
Who processes your email
OpenAI’s AI reads the emails involved to answer you, through OpenAI’s API with storage turned off, and OpenAI does not train its models on this data. When you ask Pammy to use an email for something else, like a document, a voice reply, a phone call or a video, only the details that task needs go to the service doing it; the privacy policy lists each one. Emails are treated as information, never as instructions: an email can’t make Pammy do anything. People at Pammy do not read your email, except with your permission, for security, or when the law requires it.
Disconnecting
Send DISCONNECT GMAIL in WhatsApp. Pammy revokes its access with Google and deletes your tokens and the Gmail data it was keeping. You can also remove Pammy at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Pammy’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
